Jimmy's Smokehouse & Pizza Joint sits behind Family Dollar on East Parkway in the Arts & Crafts area, and honestly, we almost drove right past it the first time. The pulled pork pizza sounds weird until you try it — they've got this blackberry pig specialty that actually works, with house-smoked pork on top of pizza dough. It's the kind of combo that shouldn't make sense but totally does.

The place used to be Three Jimmy's before the rebrand, and some folks were worried about quality dropping. But James (the son) kept the good stuff and added the pizza focus, so you're getting legit BBQ skills applied to both menus. We usually grab a spot on the pet-friendly patio since our dog tags along, and there's a little fountain out there that's nice background noise.

Weekends get packed because of the live music. If you want quiet conversation, hit them up on a Tuesday around 7:30. The parking situation is shared with Family Dollar, which sounds sketchy but actually works fine — just walk around back.

One heads up: they're open until 11pm, but if you're coming from downtown Gatlinburg during peak season, that East Parkway traffic can be brutal. Factor in extra driving time, especially during fall when everyone's heading to the Arts & Crafts loop.
